I'll Bet Nobody Told You It Would Be Like This?
Remember how good things used to be? No matter what happened to you, you could always bounce back. You were supremely confident in your ability to get things done, to handle any situation, to go hard... all in.
Truth be told, you never really knew your shoulders existed. Let alone, considered how important your shoulders were to you and your daily life. You moved effortlessly and fearlessly, without even the slightest thought.
Life was good...
But not now, you life has changed... In fact, your brain has changed.
You can't stop thinking about your shoulder. All of a sudden, you've become acutely aware of its existence. You're not sure why your shoulder hurts but you do remember thinking "I might have overdone it at some stage". It's a bit embarrassing to say but you've stopped using your shoulder for the simplest of things... just getting dressed now is a real pain in the backside.
